Senior Client Advisor (Producer)

Description  Large Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance Agent/Broker looking for detail-oriented,

motivated individual with property and casualty background who is looking to become an integral team member

of a firm that earned the Risk and Insurance Management Society's national quality award.

 

This is a third-generation family-owned agency that services the property and casualty needs of approximately

90 commercial, industrial and institutional clients with combined annual premiums in excess of $40,000,000.

 

The Senior Client Advisor, with the assistance of leadership and a qualified team of associates, will build a client

list and establish enduring, long-term relationships with clients.  This individual must be able to:

  • Identify the client/prospect exposure to loss and the means to address them, predominantly through insurance risk transfer;

  • Develop a marketing plan that includes creation of insurance specifications, time lines and complete market selection;

  • Negotiate with underwriters on behalf of our client/prospect to develop the best program;

  • Create an insurance proposal to compare competitive insurance program options for our client/prospect;

  • Monitor the risk transfer process from quote to renewal, including policy issuance reviews, service delivery, etc. for accuracy and timeliness;

  • Accurately complete the renewal information request;

  • Develop relationships with underwriters and other service providers;

  • Keep abreast of the changing market conditions and innovations;

  • Develop and maintain client service plans;

  • Manage midterm changes and requests;

  • Delegate and follow through to ensure client receives timely, accurate, helpful responses;

  • Identify new business opportunities.

Requirements Property and Casualty insurance license required.  The applicant must also:

  • Have an advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel; 

  • Be able to connect with an audience and speak persuasively and succinctly;

  • Demonstrate good listening and communication skills;

  • Be able to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks;

  • Be able to maximize the number of internal and external clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service;

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and be able to work in collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for service quality;

  • Be detail oriented with the ability to carry a project to completion;

  • Be a self-starting, organized hard worker, who can drive the process and make it happen;

  • Be able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for service quality.

  • The quote-to-renewal process;

  • Completing promptly and accurately, the renewal/new business information request;

  • Creating insurance proposals for client/prospects;

  • Comparing competitive insurance program options;

  • Monitoring policy issuance reviews;

  • Promptly and accurately responding to the clients requests;

  • Following through to ensure the client received accurate helpful responses.

  • New and renewal business;

  • Service and delivery for accuracy and timeliness;

  • Promptly and accurately responding to the clients requests;

  • Following through to ensure the client received accurate helpful responses;

  • Processing endorsements, certificates of insurance, auto id cards, evidence of property.

Requirements:  Property & Casualty license is required or the ability to secure a license in a timely manner.

 The applicant must also:

  • Have an intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Excel;

  • Demonstrate good listening and communication skills;

  • Be detail oriented;

  • Be able to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service and the ability to carry a project to completion;

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency;

  • Be able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for service quality.
